About the course
The AHA’s Heart Saver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Target Audience:
The AHA’s Heart Saver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Passing requirements:
The AHA completion E-card & E-certificate can be provided upon successful completion of all the required course skills as outlined by AHA which are:
Written Exam with 84% pass mark.
First aid skills.
Adult 1 & 2 Rescuer CPR and AED skills.
Infant 1 & 2 Rescuer CPR skill.
Course Objectives:
Emergencies involving injuries
Critical situations involving opioids
Basic first aid
Emergency medical care
Adult Use of AEDs and CPR
Stopping disease and accidents
Environmental emergencies
Infant CPR and Child CPR AED optional modules
Course Requirements:
Before the course please buy and read the Heart Saver First Aid CPR AED Provider Manual.
Bring the book proof of purchase (invoice) and email it to CEC@bmc.edu.sa. Link
Bring the course registration receipt.
Please read the terms and conditions when registering.
You will be practicing skills that require you to work on your hands and knees; the course requires bending, standing and lifting. If an existing acute physical condition prevents you from these activities, please notify the instructor.
